As part of a cycle of continuous investments, Usiminas has been reducing the deposition of sediment particles in the neighborhoods in the vicinity of Ipatinga Plant every year.
We care about the preservation of this very important resource. Under the "Mobilize All for Water" program, nearly 1,680 springs have already been protected in the Steel Valley.
More than 3,000 hectares of preserved areas in the Steel Valley. This reinforces our commitment to environmental care throughout the region.
